The preparation method comprises pulverizing Astragalus root, extracting with water, filtering, concentrating, anddrying; drying medlar, pulverizing, and mixing with Astragalus root extract and chromium nicotinate. The inventive Chinese medicinal composition can effectively reduce blood sugar. The composition can be made into medicine with conventional auxiliary materials for treating diabetes. |
