    The invention discloses a new synthesizing method of 3-methyl-7, 8-dihydroxy isochroman ketone-4, which comprises the following steps: etherifying 2, 3-dimethoxy benzenemethanol and 2-halogenated ethyl propionate or etherifying 2, 3-dimethoxy benzylbromide or 2, 3-dimethoxy benzylchloride and ethyl lactate to produce 2-(2, 3-dimethoxy benzyloxy) propionic ether; hydrolyzing 2-(2, 3-dimethoxy benzyloxy) propionic ether to obtain 2-(2, 3-dimethoxy benzyloxy) propanoic acid to make 2-(2, 3-dimethoxy benzyloxy) propionyl chloride; proceeding intramolecular Fuke acylating reaction catalyzed by Lewis acid; obtaining 3-methyl-7, 8-dimethoxy isochroman ketone-4; demethylating to obtain 3-methyl-7, 8-dihydroxy isochroman ketone-4.
