    The device has a bimodal piezoelectric resonator with at least two control electrodes for driving the resonator in different directions, a drive circuit for delivering control signals to the control electrodes and a regulating circuit for the control signals. When one control electrode is driving the resonator in one direction, the other is delivering a feedback signal to the regulating circuit. Independent claims are also included for an electric razor and for an electronic device for reading disc-shaped media.
