    An electric vacuum cleaner comprises an electric vacuum cleaner body with a blower fan; an inhalation hose mounted on the body; a handle formed on one end of the inhalation hose; a connection pipe communicating to the inhalation hose equipped on the handle; and an inhalation mouth mounted on a connection pipe. The connection pipe comprises a first pipe connected with the handle and a second pipe connected with the other end of the first pipe in a slide manner. The first pipe is provided with a fixer means to fix the second pipe on the first pipe and a transfer means for transferring the operation on one end of the first pipe to the fixer means by a connection means. A locking groove responding to the fixer means is formed on the second pipe.
