The present invention relates to a new application of taurine in preparation of medicine for raising leucycyte function. Said invented taurine can be water soluble injection, suspension or emulsion liquid, and the optimum dose of taurine is 1-13 mg/kg.d. Said taurine injection can obviously increase carbon granular clearance of mouse with immunological hypofunction due to cyclophosphamide and 60 Co irradiation, can increase number of leucocytes and weight of immune organs (spleen and thymus gland), raise serum hemolysin antibody content, enhance the phagocytic function of neutral granulocyte and conversion function of splenic lymph cell.
