    The invention discloses an annular point discharge tube current limiter relating to an electric component for limiting the output of high voltage discharge electrode current. The invention applies the principle of an annular point even discharge, wherein the annular air ion current is formed in the space inside the electric discharge tube. No matter whether the output discharge electrode short-circuit or not, the annular air ion current will be maintained in a comparative stable range, no spark discharge produced, thus achieving the purpose of limiting the current. The invention may be applied to high voltage power generator, electrical dust catcher, lightning protector discharge tube and air ion generator.
