    A process for treating the sewage generated by rinsing polyvinyl alcohol includes such steps as naturalizing and culturing the bacteria able to decompose polyvinyl alcohol, anaerobic biologic treating, aerobic biologic treating, and physiochemical treating, and the treated bacteria removing the organic substances contained in the sewage. Its advantages are high effect and low cost.
