    A lead borate-base sealing glass containing the oxide of noble metal and its sealing glass powder are disclosed. Its advantages are low smelting point (low sealing-in temp.) down to 360 deg.C and low thermal expansibility (70X10 to the power -7 per deg.C at 20-200 deg.C).
