    A method for generating digital certificate includes making digital signature on received information of certificate holder and sending said information and digital signature to storing media for being stored. Its certifying method includes judging whether digital signature red out from digital certificate is true or not and reading out information of certificate holder from digital certificate if it is then judging whether red out information is consistent to information of certificate holder or not and confirming that digital certificate is true if it is or otherwise confirming that it is false one.
